Introducing Beeline RTD
After many months in the works, it’s my pleasure introduce Beeline RTD.
Beeline RTD is an iPhone app for commuters to find the right bus. Fast.
While app is in development I just wanted to give a quick overview of what you can do in Beeline RTD:
- Use Geolocation to show where you are, the bus stops relative to you and which buses stop there
- Make Beeline RTD your own, find and save your favorite routes for easy access and reference
- Use a beautiful, efficient user interface to find the time of your next bus quickly and efficiently
- Plan your future commutes with up-to-date schedule information
- Access the latest commuter news from RTD and GoBoulder
- Report feedback about your commuting experiences to RTD for improvements to the bus system
With fewer taps, you go faster.
Follow @BeelineRTD for more information about the app.
Coming to an App Store near you.
Our first iPad app is coming down the pipeline
My goal was to have our first app submitted to Apple by June 1st. I love being on time. Each build is an improvement over the previous one, bugs are getting fixed left and right. I’d tell you more of the details but I’d rather show you when we’ve got it all squared away and finalized.
We’ve got one of the best developers in Boulder working on the coding, one of the best graphic designers doing some UI elements and an icon and in six days I plan on submitting 59thirty’s first app to Apple for review.
Next week is Boulder Startup Week. Hoping to meet a bunch of incredible people in one of the greatest startup towns in America.
Maybe next year 59thirty will be so big, we’ll host our own event. Wishful thinking.
If you want to find out the events that I will be at next week, check out my Plancast. Come up and say hi. I looks like Andy Samberg and I’m three-quarters as funny.
